Portrait Sculpture

This stone project is done using a photo and creating the image as a 3D model in Zbrush. Next the 3D model is programmed in the Kuka Robot’s system to mill out the model in Elberton blue granite. Hand finished by in-house sculptor.

Lion’s Head resides in the children’s section of the Sylacauga Public Library. “Aslan”

Artist Craigger Browne sculpts the original image in clay

We scan the sculpture with a 3D Scanner and prepare the 3D model.

The 3D model is programmed in the 6 axis robotic arm for milling.

Milling almost complete

The marble has been prepared for the Master Artist’s fine hand finishing and fine detailed work.
